New Retail Center in St. James at Sunshine Bridge
New retail strip center soon to be located on Highway 70 near the west side base of the Sunshine Bridge. Now preleasing 16,000 SF of available space. St. James is the home of industrial employers including Gramercy Alumina, Mosaic Phosphates, Occidental Chemical Corp, Zen-Noh Grain, Chevron Phillips, Motiva, and Nucor. Most recently Yuhuang Chemical has announced plans to build a $1.85 billion methanol manufacturing facility in St. James Parish. The company announced the methanol plant will create 400 new jobs and 2,365 indirect jobs in the surrounding areas.
