Chad Jewell

Chad founded Austin Office Space in 1999. He began his real estate career back in 1998 specializing in office tenant representation. Chad now enjoys sixteen years of experience representing companies in the Austin area.

Chad has a degree in Finance with a Real Estate emphasis from the University of Northern Iowa. Since moving to Austin from his hometown of Des Moines, Iowa, he as been very involved in the Austin community. Chad is an active member of Commercial Brokers Association of Austin and has previously been involved with many local organizations such as: Bootstrap Austin, Habitat Young Professionals, TAG, Metropolitan Breakfast Club, Austin Toastmasters, Young Execs and Landmark Education.

Chad is a student of negotiation and has spent years of collecting books and creating his own methodology which he calls “Zero Resistance Negotiating”. Periodically, Chad conducts 3-hour negotiation workshops for local business owners. He has plans to complete a short book for tenants on how ZRN and the A.C.T.I.V.E. negotiation model is applied to office leasing.

Chad and his wife Velissa have two boys; Vanden and Dax. In his spare time Chad enjoys playing tennis in local leagues and traveling with his family.
