This 2.2 acre lakefront site was approved by the City of Casselberry Planning and Zoning Commission in 2015 for an assisted living/memory care facility and is zoned CG (Commercial General). 1.7 acres are developable with direct access to Lake Marie in the City of Casselberry, in Seminole County, Florida.
Site plan approval by the Planning and Zoning Commission and an engineering permit issued by the Public Works Department were issued in 2016. Architectural plans will need to be submitted to acquire a building permit prior to construction. The proposed assisted living facility would consist of a one-story building with a total of 19,457 square feet of floor area. The building would accommodate forty (40) beds along with dining hall, common entertainment and lounge areas, kitchen and ancillary areas. Water and sewer services will be provided on-site. This property site is part of the Casselberry Lakes District, which was organized in 2016 and has started to implement projects and programs that are important to their members and neighbors. The goal of the Lakes District Strategic Plan is to beautify and brand the neighborhoods to invigorate this particular area of the City. This plan will guide the City in efforts to support the sense of pride the residents have for the community.
