Jersey City maintains one of the country’s highest rates of public transit ridership, with nearly 40% of area resident’s commuting via public transit daily. The transportation center consists of a multi-level hub that includes a PATH station, more than five bus carriers with multiple routes, and a 150,000 SF office tower.

As of March 2017, over 37,000 units are planned and over 9,000 are currently under construction in Jersey City, the majority centered within Downtown and Journal Square.

Weekend arts and culture events on the plaza ensure consistent customer base throughout the entire week.

Approximately 60,000 commuters utilize the transportation center daily. Journal Square population slated for 60% increase by 2025.
