Final site plan approval of The Shops at Woodbury is expected Spring 2020 and development is slated to begin shortly thereafter. Led by The Leser Group, the project will comprise of 40,040 rentable square feet including free-standing pad sites, in-line retail, and a six-story flagship hotel located diagonally across from Simon's Woodbury Common Premium Outlets (250 stores and 13 million visitors per year). The Shops at Woodbuy will offer consumers upscale shopping, dining, and entertainment options in one of the busiest and fastest-growing retail corridors in the Northeast. The NYSDOT recently finalized the $150 million expansion of Route 32 and renovation of the Route 17 (future I-86) interchange, which improved access to businesses, shopping and a new Park-and-Ride located at The Shops at Woodbury. Traffic counts in front of the site are the highest in Orange County.
