It went on to house The Brenham Grand Opera on the second & third floors and Alex Simon's General Mercantile Store on the first. Restored in 1994 by the current owner, the Building has 14' 9" ceilings downstairs with nine, 10' 2" arched windows facing Alamo Street. A stunning 16 bulb, 4' 6" x 5' chandelier is showcased in the center of the building. The walls have exposed red brick arches and the floor is stained concrete.
