Kapalama Center is 39,000 square foot retail center located near Downtown Honolulu with a large surrounding residential population and daytime business population. The Center features a mix of local and regional retailers including Wingstop, Zippy’s, Egghead Cafe, Machete’s Mean Sandwiches and Ahi & Vegetable.

In 2013, the center went under revitalization which included new store fronts and signage, reconfiguration of the parking lot and landscaping
The center is adjacent to Honolulu Community College which has an enrollment of 4,000 students
The proposed rail line will have stops in close proximity to Kapalama Center as well as several other stations
The area has future re-development plans which will feature additional homes as well as retail
