Original building was built 1918 as the mansion of the Fleming family, one of the wealthiest in town. (Next to Fleming Memorial Presbyterian Church and across the street from Fleming Avenue, if that tells you anything.) It was renovated in 1970 by local real estate developer Mike Yanero into its current configuration, by extending it to the right and adding on a circular lobby about 15' diameter with an elegant curved stairway, to look just like a building he had seen and admired somewhere in Florida.
