The S Treadaway arterial is a business spur for state highway 83. It runs north and south along the central east side of Abilene. The thoroughfare is mostly an industrial district. The street has a combination of industrial warehouses that are used for a variety of businesses including but not limited to: distribution; contractor services; storage; supply houses; wholesale sales; and offices for professional uses including banks.
