Kenmore Crossing

Within the City of Fredericksburg Historic District, at the lighted intersection of Lafayette Blvd and Charles Street, exists a multi-story converted office building that was once the factory home of the Kenmore Shoe Company. Totaling over 18,000 square feet above grade on two floors, with access from Prince Edward Street and Lafayette Blvd (hence the two addresses), the building was not only once a shoe factory, but served as other factories in the pickling and sewing industries, respectively. Converted to a downtown office park also including 415 Wolfe Street, and formerly dubbed the Lafayette Technology Center in the early 2000s, 315 Lafayette and 513 Prince Edward St have evolved over the years and remain office space today under the name Kenmore Crossing. In the epicenter of the next wave of revitalization for downtown Fredericksburg, with close proximity to the train station, the building is easily accessible along the growing Lafayette Blvd corridor.
